      "details": "Samuel Wilson Fares, born in Brazil and fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, developed a passion for photography and cinema at an early age after moving to the U.S. at age 4. He refined his skills through high school and later film school at the University of Wisconsin Madison, working on television commercials and music videos with green screen techniques. After graduating, Sam joined Sonic Foundry Inc., the precursor to Sony Creative Software, before advancing to Sony Pictures in 2003. He quickly rose to Global Training Specialist, training industry professionals worldwide on digital workflows, including film-to-tape-to-digital transitions and DVD/Blu-ray authoring. In 2009, he became Product Marketing Manager for Sony’s Cinealta cinema cameras, such as the F55 and VENICE, supporting their launch and marketing across Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently, as Sony’s Virtual Production Marketing Manager and head of Sony’s Digital Media Production Center in Los Angeles, he showcases innovative cinema solutions and collaborates directly with filmmakers, film students, cinematographers, and industry partners to test and demonstrate Sony’s latest technologies. With over 2 decades at Sony, Sam’s passion for imaging, technical expertise, and ability to communicate complex concepts have established him as a leading advocate for filmmakers, significantly innovating Sony’s cinema products, workflows, and latest virtual production advancements.",
