Summary

In a landscape defined by stimulus saturation and fragmentation caused by information overload, attention has become a highly contested resource. Yet, we still approach it with outdated methods and paradigms from a previous era. This adhoc research with Nielsen, Consumoteca, BRMedia and Publicis introduces a new framework to understand contemporary attention dynamics and proposes 3 strategic pathways for brands to build cultural relevance without overwhelming consumers. It is a timely critical reflection, grounded in data from Brazil — one of the most digitally connected societies worldwide.
