Scarlett serves on the board of Los Angeles Performance Practice, is a member of The Kilroys, and mentors for NEW INC. Recently, she was Director of Innovation & Strategy of Oregon Shakespeare Festival, interdisciplinary fellow at Royal Shakespeare Company, and visiting artist at Stanford.",

Her publications include Creating Community in Hybrid Festivals as author and Collective Wisdom: Co-creating Media for Equity and Justice as co-author. Before arriving at MIT, she worked on award-winning documentaries and educational media for a wide variety of media outlets including PBS, WGBH, NPR, websites and museums. In 2023, she was awarded an insignia of  Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres from the French Government for his service to the immersive arts fields.",
