"details": "Originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Samara Cyn grew up in an Army family, constantly moving and learning how to adapt which shaped her dynamic perspective on music and storytelling. Now based in Los Angeles, Samara began her musical journey in 2019, writing her first song as a therapeutic outlet that quickly became a full-fledged passion and purpose. As her writing sharpened and her sound came into focus, she began building momentum across streaming platforms, amassing over 70 million global streams to date.\rHer blend of heartfelt lyricism and captivating melodies has earned early co-signs from Tyler, The Creator, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Nas, Doechii, Doja Cat, Rapsody, Alicia Keys, Isaiah Rashad, and Teddy Swims. She has also proven herself as a compelling live performer, touring with Nas and Smino and building a reputation for connecting with audiences just as powerfully on stage as she does on record.\rHer debut EP The Drive Home (2024) captured her evolving journey toward self-identity and received widespread critical acclaim, landing on Complex’s Best Albums of 2024 and earning praise from Rolling Stone, GENIUS, VIBE, UPROXX, and Pigeons & Planes. She followed it with Backroads (2025), another widely celebrated project that led to her late-night television debut on The Daily Show performing “hardheaded,” as well as a standout performance at Camp Flog Gnaw Festival. Named to the 2025 XXL Freshman Class, Samara has also expanded her creative reach through partnerships with Nike, Kia, Ganni, Tommy Girl (Hilfiger), and ESPN, alongside the launch of her own brand, Third Eye Lazy. In 2026, she will embark on her debut headline tour in support of new music that continues pushing her sound into new territory.",
