      "details": "Rachael Zaluzec is a leader at Volkswagen of America who has spent her career focusing on people, both internal to the organization and externally on the end customers. In 2008, Zaluzec began her direct tenure at Volkswagen in Human Resources in Herndon, Virginia.  In that capacity, she worked to coach leaders on strategies to build strong teams and ready employees for career growth. Her passion for service to others continued and she transitioned to a role leading Group Customer Relations, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where the majority of Volkswagen’s customer-facing functions are located. \r\rOver the course of the next 15 years, Zaluzec successfully took on roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of Customer Support, CRM, Loyalty, Customer Journey Development, Customer Data Governance and Customer Digital Strategy – driving both brand and dealer loyalty in sales and fixed operations. During this time, she became the executive sponsor of the Michigan chapter of the Women in Motion Employee Resource Group (ERG). An internal organization focused on the growth and development of female leaders within the Volkswagen Group.  \r\rIn 2023, she was appointed to Chief Marketing Officer & SVP Customer Experience & Brand Marketing. In this position, she has continued the champion the customer by making sure that the Brand puts its drivers in the heart of everything it does – from messaging to touchpoints – in person and through digital channels. Her goal has been to make Volkswagen personal, simple, accessible and seamless to current and future customers.   \r\rIn her first year as CMO, Zaluzec and her team began work on Volkswagen’s first nationally televised Super Bowl commercial in a decade. Titled “An American Love Story”, the film highlights Volkswagen’s brand journey in the US,  and ultimately invites a new generation of drivers to join its journey to an electric future. Her goal was for the VW brand to match the genuine love and enthusiasm, that VW owners have for the Brand and the VW vehicle line up. This came to life in the in Super Bowl commercial and continues on with the extensions of those real life and human stories. The spot was met with resounding critical acclaim and kicks off efforts to celebrate Volkswagen’s 75th anniversary in the US – one which will the monumental introduction of the ID. Buzz.  \r\rZaluzec has continued her support for Employee Resource Groups (ERG) and has volunteered to be the as the executive sponsor for a newly-formed Volkswagen Employee Resource Group (ERG) dedicated to the visibility and support of individuals living with disabilities.",
