      "details": "Charlie Hopkins is VP of Development for Concord Originals and will be attending with one of their shorts at the festival.  In addition to Film and TV, Charlie can also speak about inclusive storytelling and advocating for filmmakers from historically underrepresented communities.\r\r \r\r•\tConcord Originals most recently partnered with multi Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and record producer Ryan Tedder on an original movie musical and Jesse Collins Entertainment on \"The Untitled Robert Johnson Biopic,\" the narrative feature film on the legendary blues musician Robert Johnson - Hopkins will produce both projects. Concord Originals’ slate also includes Paris Barclay’s documentary feature \"Billy Preston: That’s The Way God Planned It\" about the celebrated musician Billy Preston; \"Shari & Lamb Chop,\" directed by Lisa D’Apolito (Love, Gilda) which Kino Lorber released theatrically in July 2025 and the Emmy-nominated and Peabody Award-winning “Stax: Soulsville U.S.A.,” the multi-part docuseries about the legendary Stax Records for HBO from director Jamila Wignot (Ailey).\r\r•\tHopkins spearheaded a short film financing initiative which saw three QTBIPOC filmmakers receive funding to produce short films incorporating Concord’s IP and which premiered at Outfest Los Angeles 2023. The initiative was re-launched in 2024 with NewFest, with one of the shorts at SXSW!\r\r•\tAnd in June, Concord Originals acquired RKO, the legendary film studio behind such classic film properties as \"King Kong,\" \"Citizen Kane,\" \"It’s a Wonderful Life and Suspicion.\"\r\r \r\r",
