"details": "Dr. Pavitra P. Krishnamani, MD, MS, FAAEM, is a board-certified emergency physician and innovator passionate about using digital health to transform healthcare and wellness. She is an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Affiliate Faculty at MD Anderson’s Institute for Data Science in Oncology. Adept at fostering connections between clinical medicine and tech innovation, she has collaborated and advised on multiple projects leveraging digital health or exploring its potential in patient care. In prior roles, she has co-founded and led digital health initiatives spanning the spectrum of exploration through implementation.\nShe currently chairs MD Anderson’s AI and digital health GME subcommittee, leading educational initiatives available to clinicians spanning almost every medical specialty at the best cancer center in the world. Dr. Krishnamani is also working with key stakeholders in AI and digital health innovation within the University of Texas (UT) system to develop an educational framework that will prepare the system’s workforce and learners for safe and ethical AI adoption. The system-wide initiative, known as UT REAL Health AI, is expected to impact over 83,000 healthcare professionals employed by UT Institutions caring for a vast number of patients across one of the most populous states in our country.\nNationally, Dr. Krishnamani serves as the Vice Chair for ACEP’s Health Innovation and Technology Committee, where she works with colleagues across the country to develop resources that shape how we deliver emergency care. She was also a grant reviewer for the NIH-NSH SmartHealth program. Dr. Krishnamani has shared her expertise internationally through talks at SXSW, Inventures, and Stanford's MedXEd. Her 2026 book exploring the impact of technological innovation on healthcare is a compendium empowering innovators to imagine how different technological innovations can impact health and wellness.",
