      "details": "An award-winning filmmaker, author, and curator, Kelcey Edwards received an MFA in Documentary Film from Stanford University. Her most recent feature documentary, The Art of Making It, won the 2022 Audience Award for Festival Favorites at SXSW Film Festival and is currently streaming on several platforms, including iTunes and Amazon Prime. She is an Assistant Professor of Film and Television at Hofstra University.\r\r\r\rAs a director, her films have screened at many of the top film festivals in the country, including SXSW, Hamptons International, Miami International, Big Sky, True/False, Sonoma International, Cleveland International & Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festivals. Kelcey's fiction writing has appeared in Story South and Border Crossing; her art writing has been published by Hamptons Art Hub, Portray Magazine, Whitehot Magazine, and Salomon Contemporary, and her nonfiction has been published by Stanford University Press.\r\r\r\rHer producer credits include Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines (SXSW premiere, PBS Independent Lens broadcast) and Words of Witness (Berlin Film Festival premiere, Al Jazeera America broadcast). She was a content writer for Honest Engine, the production company behind the IFC television series IFC Media Project, and a senior producer at the creative advertising agency TBWA/Chiat/Day where she produced commercials for clients such as beIN SPORTS and Kraft. Throughout her career, she has directed and produced a broad range of projects in a variety of mediums, ranging from a web-based game for tweens for PBS Kids to web videos for NYU Langone to a CMT award-winning music video. Kelcey is the founding director of Iron Gate East, a production company and exhibition series based in NYC and the Hamptons.",
