      "details": "As a 35-year veteran of the music business, I've enjoyed a unique balance of sales and marketing of both digital and physical music. My loves of music and Internet technology met in the mid-90’s and I've enjoyed witnessing how fans’ enjoyment of music has evolved ever since. I currently work at Disney Music Group (Walt Disney Records/Hollywood Records) leading their catalog initiatives and playlist strategy. Note that I am not representing Disney at the conference. My roles include sales campaigns, analysis, brand support, and working with Universal Music Group’s playlist team. \n\nI previously led DMG's relationships with Amazon, Microsoft, Pandora, Napster, Rhapsody, Tidal, Deezer, among others.  In 2014, I helped UMG’s Global Digital Business unit as worldwide lead for Beats Music (now Apple Music), among many others. Prior to that, I spent twelve years in sales and marketing at BMG Entertainment (now Sony Music) in Seattle before being asked to join UMG’s Universal Music Enterprises label in Los Angeles. While at UMe, I guided the label’s digital sales and marketing efforts for seven years. I've also consulted, helping his clients navigate the ever-changing worlds of sales, marketing, fundraising, publicity, and publishing. During my career, I've enjoyed sharing what I've learned via panels and speaking at junior high and high schools, as well as at colleges, including USC’s Thornton School of Music, LA College of Music, and UCLA's Center for Music Innovation.",
