      "details": "I’m a technologist and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in consulting and software development. I currently serve as the co-founder & CEO of Devsu, a software engineering firm helping clients shift from traditional delivery models to AI-native approaches. We work with everyone from scale-ups to large enterprises, combining strong engineering fundamentals with intelligent, outcome-driven delivery.\r\rMy background blends Computer Science, Economics, and a Master’s in Technology Management. That mix of technical and business perspectives has shaped how I lead teams, build products, and solve complex problems. I’ve partnered closely with CTOs, product leaders, and engineering teams to improve software delivery from planning through deployment and iteration.\r\rAt Devsu, I led the company’s evolution from a staff augmentation model to a consultative, value-focused approach. That included repositioning our services and building VelX, a framework that helps enterprises modernize legacy systems and adopt scalable, AI-native development practices.\r\rI’m especially focused on how AI is transforming software engineering. Our team has integrated LLMs into day-to-day workflows, from code generation to agent-driven testing. Still, I believe that fundamentals matter. AI is a powerful tool, but it doesn’t replace sound judgment, thoughtful architecture, or strong communication.\r\rAs a mentor, I like to stay practical, zooming in and out as needed. I’ve advised founders and product leaders on pricing strategy, team design, acquisitions, partnerships, and investor conversations. I aim to offer clarity, not just opinions—and I genuinely enjoy learning from those I mentor. The best conversations challenge me to think differently.\r\rI’m applying to the SXSW Mentorship Program because I believe in honest, real-world conversations between people building things. SXSW has always been a space where ideas meet execution, and I’d love to contribute to that. I’ve made smart decisions and my fair share of mistakes, and I’m always happy to share both.\r\rI split my time between the U.S. and Ecuador, where I grew up. That cross-border perspective has shaped how I think about remote work, distributed teams, and building global companies. Outside of work, I’m into good food, music (one of the many reasons I’ve always loved South By), and the occasional deep dive into economic history.\r\rI’m also an Endeavor Entrepreneur, a Hampton member, and a contributor to publications like Forbes.",
