Her work embodies what scholar Ruha Benjamin describes as “a contested field of action” —where imagination becomes a tool for collective transformation. Dinkins is the Kusama Endowed Chair in Art at Stony Brook University and a Schmidt Futures AI2050 Senior Fellow. She exhibits internationally.",

Other titles include Blackout (2017), and 18DaysInEgypt (2011). Yasmin is directing the upcoming When Brooklyn Was Queer.Yasmin’s work has won multiple awards and exhibited at various festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, SIGGRAPH, Cannes, and the World Economic Forum.
