Since joining Billboard in 2019, she has reported on all facets of the global dance scene, with highlights including a cover story on the return of Swedish House Mafia, a cover with genre icons Justice and an in-depth report on Saudi Arabia’s emerging music industry. Katie has reported stories from over a dozen countries and has written extensively about Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and Burning Man. Outside of dance, Katie has interviewed legends like Robert Plant, Bon Jovi and Lenny Kravitz, along with Billboard cover subjects like The Weeknd and Justin Bieber. Her 2023 feature on Israeli/Palestinian boy band as1one was a finalist for a Los Angeles Press Club award.
