House of Lepore
Summary
"The House of Lepore" is a chosen family of Queer performance artists based in Austin that are dedicated to bringing ballroom/vogue culture to the forefront of Central Texas. House of Lepore was founded in 2020 by matriarch and ICON Overall Mother, Natalie "Girl6" Lepore. Because of Lepore's roots as a performance collective, House of Lepore is comprised of artists that range from burlesque dancers, musicians, DJ's, drag artists, photographers, and much much more. At House of Lepore, individuality is valued first, and members are given the space to hone their craft, while providing know-how and opportunity to one another as part of a family effort. In 2022 House of Lepore made history by bringing ballroom culture to the SXSW festival. Check them out at the annual EVERYTHING BIGGER IN TEXAS BALL.
