Summary

After years of working behind the scenes as a producer, Devin Malik is now stepping into the spotlight showcasing a rare balance of musical range along with catchy flows proving that he’s more than worthy of gracing the microphone himself. Dating all the way back to 2017, Malik’s beats have racked up millions of streams within the then underground “Soundcloud” scene collaborating with artists such as Lil Yachty, Ken Carson, and D Savage. More recently, we see Devin working intimately with Los Angeles based powerhouse Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). Boasting five beats over Isaiah Rashad’s well-received effort “The House is Burning” in 2021 as well as five beats and two features on ScHoolboy Q’s critically acclaimed “Blue Lips” in 2024. With no shortage of credits within the label, his name can also be seen on tracks with TDE’s rising star Doechii and Black Hippy legend Ab-Soul among others. Now Devin Malik shifts his focus towards putting out songs of his own. Making hard-hitting bangers such as “Link Ducker” and “Canadian Tux” while simultaneously being able to lean into the more melodic and alternative sounds heard in “PDA” and “Wallflower” with just as much ease.
