P.H.0
Summary
P.H.0 [P-H-"zero"] is a NYC-based SILKPUNK quartet reshaping the city's underground. Fusing the raw, intense metal riffs with the haunting cry of the traditional Chinese erhu and techno-dystopian synths, they craft sounds that are at once chaotic and controlled, futuristic and ancient. Their live shows—referred to as "rituals"—transform ancient Taoist traditions into ear-crushing soundscapes that defy time, crashing into chaotic mosh pits under visceral strobing lights to create what some describe as a rave in an abandoned shrine from Cyberpunk 2077. Their momentum has carried them from NYC festivals like New Colossus and Punk Island to sold-out shows across the East Coast, proving their reach in every environment—from the historic Gramercy Theatre, where they were handpicked by Danish prog-metal giants VOLA to support their North American tour, to inside an abandoned tunnel where they performed for more than 500 ravers. They were further recognized by NPR's Tiny Desk as a top 50 "Top Shelf" artist in 2025, and by Bandcamp Daily, who praised their debut album KARMA for “reimagining what Asian music might sound like.” P.H.0 continues to build a cult following, one ritual at a time.
