The Pirate King
Summary
Returning stateside, Todd Gillis struggles to hold down work due to his condition and trauma from his time in Afghanistan . When his ex-wife sues for custody of his beloved daughter, Emmylou, Todd hits rock bottom. In an effort to impress his case appointed judge, Todd joins a pirate re-enactment crew that his daughter is fond of. Through a newfound community Todd begins a journey of healing he never expected.

Smith and Annabeth Gish. \n \nOn the acting side, Josh recently guest starred opposite Daniel Dae Kim in the Prime Video series BUTTERFLY and was a series regular on MGM TV/ Prime Video series THE BAXTERS. He recurred on the Paramount+ series iCARLY and has lead roles in the Monkey Paw Short Film IMAGO (Toronto ’25, SXSW ’26); comedy feature CHEAP AF, opposite Arden Cho; and the aforementioned RED INK. Additional credits include roles in eOne/ HULU film WILDFLOWER, opposite Kiernan Shipka, and guest spots on ABC’s GREY’S ANATOMY & FOX’s 9-1-1: LONE STAR and CHICAGO MED.",
