      "details": "Adam Pally is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer known for his quick, off‑beat timing and scene‑stealing turns across television, film, stand‑up, and podcasting. He first broke out as fan‑favorite Max Blum on the ABC comedy Happy Endings and went on to star as Dr. Peter Prentice on The Mindy Project, cementing himself as a go‑to presence in smart, character‑driven ensemble comedies. He has since toplined series including Making History and Indebted, and served as an executive producer on Comedy Central’s The President Show, further establishing his voice behind the camera as well as on screen.\r\rPally can currently be seen in his new comedy special, An Intimate Evening with Adam Pally, which premiered on HBO on October 17, showcasing his distinctly loose, self‑deprecating, and personal approach to stand‑up. He recently starred in and executive-produced the Peacock comedy series Mr. Throwback opposite Stephen Curry and Ego Nwodim, and appeared in Netflix’s FUBAR, continuing his run of high‑profile TV comedy roles. In the unscripted space, he and longtime collaborator Jon Gabrus starred in the travel‑comedy series 101 Places to Party Before You Die and now co‑host the SmartLess Media podcast Staying Alive with Jon Gabrus and Adam Pally, where they talk with friends and experts about health, wellness, and aging with their trademark “grossly forthcoming” honesty.\r\rOn the film side, Pally has balanced studio fare with indies, starring as Wade Whipple in Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and in the Paramount+ spin‑off series Knuckles alongside Idris Elba, while also appearing in Who Invited Charlie?, Netflix/WWE Studios’ The Main Event, Most Likely to Murder opposite Rachel Bloom, Ken Marino’s Dog Days, Band Aid opposite Colin Hanks, Marvel’s Iron Man 3, Lionsgate’s Dirty Grandpa with Robert De Niro and Zac Efron, and Jeff Baena’s The Little Hours opposite Dave Franco and Alison Brie.
